Senior System Engineers (x2)
A Senior Systems Engineer is required within the Surveillance Systems business to develop and deliver Company and Customer Funded systems projects based upon Kelvin Hughes’ state of the art radar technology. Activities will include all aspects of the Systems Engineering lifecycle from System Concept through to Delivery and Acceptance, including Bid Support, System Design and System Integration.
Graduate Technical Services Engineer
An excellent opportunity working within the Customer Service Department the job holder is required to be responsible for various technical activities, the core activities are the provision of Post Design Service (PDS) and Customer Technical Support. The PDS activities will be identified via the Product Performance Process (PPR), Obsolescence issues or via Customer Support contracts. These could lead to the control of internally-funded PDS development/ production programs. Therefore a close liaison with Projects, Engineering, Systems Engineering, Operations, Procurement, Customer Services, Quality and Accounting departments within the Company will be required to fulfill this task. The role holder is also part of the Customer Service Support Team and will be expected to provide a lead role in the provision of technical support for Kelvin Hughes customers and the services it provides. There will also be a link to the Engineering design team for products to ensure previous ‘lessons learnt’ are captured and incorporated during the design process.
Requirements: - Computer Science or Electronics degree, with a good networking understanding and sound electronics.
Material Planner (Trainee)
We require a trainee to work within our planning department, you will be trained on scheduling raw materials demand through MRP to meet targeted stock levels and finished goods production programmes. To plan Production tasks to ensure customer orders are fulfilled on time and in full to meet customer expectations. Liaise with key stakeholder departments including Logistics, Sales, Customer Services, Engineering and Finance to ensure achievement of declared forecasts and project programmes.
This position would suit a college leaver with good 'A' levels results in Maths, English and Business Studies.
An experienced Technician is required to manufacture high complexity electro-mechanical products that form part of a marine radar navigation product range. The role requires the assembly, rework and test of electro-mechanical radar equipment typically for maritime applications and the working to and the development of manufacturing procedures.
Test Technician (x2)
You must be experienced in the comprehensive testing of high complexity electro-mechanical products that form part of a marine radar navigation product range.
Regional Sales Director
A great opportunity for an experienced Sales Director, to be responsible for the sales SSB products and Systems to customers within the region.
To take ownership of the whole sales process from prospect identification, through qualification, presentation, proposals, negotiation and finally closing the sale. Post sales activities to ensure the contracted as required.
We are looking for a positive and creative Engineer to design, specify, implement, test and maintain software to support the company’s products and services.
To use good engineering practice to produce software for new, innovative and profitable products and solutions for the Security business. To support and enhance existing software in accordance with commercial requirements. Responsible for design, specification, implementation, testing and maintenance of software to support the company’s products and services. Technical liaison within and outside Kelvin Hughes with customers, suppliers and collaborators on software related matters.
The ideal candidate will have in depth security sector sales experience.

The candidate would require the ability to seek out and find business opportunities, to communicate with customers at all levels, manage and generate high quality bids and proposals and then follow them through to profitable conclusion.
