Meet Kelvin Hughes at Danish Maritime Fair 2016

Kelvin Hughes will be exhibiting at Danish Maritime Fair 2016 (Stand: 0590) which is being held in Copenhagen from the 25th to 27th October.
Established in 2014 to connect the Nordic maritime cluster with the global industry, the Fair is becoming a major event, attracting key players from across the maritime community who are either seeking or offering new solutions to the most important challenges.
It represents an excellent opportunity for Kelvin Hughes to promote its new range of radar systems developed specifically for commercial shipping. A world leader in the development, manufacture and supply of maritime navigation, surveillance and security radar systems, the company sets the international standard radar sensor technology with its SharpEye™ solid state technology and its market-leading tactical and situational awareness radar display software.
On display will be the Type Approved X-Band 12kW Upmast Radar designed to meet the challenges of safety, navigation and collision avoidance at sea through a combination of radar techniques that provide the best performance in all conditions. This price competitive radar is extremely easy to install with a single cable and 4 bolts, makes it ideal for retrofit applications. The radar performance also increases from the transceiver being positioned upmast, thereby minimising signal loss in the waveguide as well as simplifying installation.
Kelvin Hughes will also be exhibiting its new integrated radar display which incorporates all the software functionality of its highly successful MantaDigital™ radar series whilst adding a number of improvements. Working with the transceivers as part of a fully redundant networked system, the radar display provides radar, chart radar and Electronic Chart System (ECS) information to support navigation, route planning and training. Type-approved (MSC192/79 / IEC 62388 ED2), it features dual PPI (Plan Position Indicator), collision warning, spy scope and Enhanced Target Detection (ETD) mode.
