Exhibiting at Euronaval 2016
- 17 Oct 2016
With a long history in the supply of naval radar, and currently supplying over 30 of the world's navies, Kelvin Hughes will be exhibiting at Euronaval 2016 (Stand G17) which is being held at Paris Le Bourget from 17th to 21st October.
Supported by the French Ministry of Defence and the French Navy, Euronaval is the major naval and maritime defence exhibition in Europe and takes place in alternate years to the DSEI exhibition in the UK. Spanning five days, and attracting some 25,000 visitors including senior naval officers and government officials, the event is a showcase for the very latest technologies, products and services.
For Kelvin Hughes, it represents an ideal platform for promoting its wide range of maritime navigation, surveillance and security radar systems, including its industry-leading, solid-state SharpEye™ radar sensor technology.
The I-Band (X-Band) and E/F-Band (S-Band) variants of SharpEye™ deliver an advanced pulse-compressed Doppler navigation and situational awareness capability that can provide early warning not only of the presence of larger vessels but also small targets and asymmetric threats with a low Radar Cross Section such as submarine periscopes, RHIBs, small wooden boats, USVs and jet skis. The inherent target detection capabilities offered by SharpEye™ make it an ideal sensor for naval ships, submarines, coastguard vessels, Vessel Traffic Service VTS, special forces operations and helicopter control applications.
Kelvin Hughes will be exhibiting within the UK Pavilion organised by the Society of Maritime Industries.
