Exhibiting at Security & Policing 2016
- 08 Mar 2016
Kelvin Hughes will be exhibiting at Security & Policing 2016 which is being held at Farnborough FIVE from 8th to 10th March. Visit us on Stand X15 and B30.
On display will be our SharpEye™ solid state X-Band radar which, when paired with the latest multi-role camera mounts and our intuitive CxEye™ display and interface software, provides an industry-leading situational awareness system. To demonstrate its full versatility and flexibility, we will also be deploying one of our Kelvin Hughes-branded surveillance vehicles equipped with video screens and processors using CxEye™ software for monitoring radar and camera information. See Kelvin Hughes in the vehicle demonstration area – X15.
Kelvin Hughes also has an exhibition stand in the main hall – B30.
Creating both a mobile patrol and a command and control room scenario will give us an excellent opportunity to demonstrate the full extent to which SharpEye™ technology can be applied for the protection of infrastructure, perimeters, ports and borders through early detection, recognition, identification and classification.
In addition, we will be demonstrating the SharpEye™ SxV. A high performance, lightweight, mobile and deployable self-contained radar, weighing circa 20kg, the SxV can be transported by personnel on foot or deployed on a vehicle or a static mast. With only one cable connection, installation is simple and reliable and the SxV can be optimised for the detection of a range of targets, including airborne targets such as drones and UAVs, even in clutter conditions, making it the ideal sensor for the detection and early warning of threats.
Organised by the Home Office, Security & Policing is the UK’s only secure event for police, law enforcement and security professionals, providing a platform for exhibitors to demonstrate the very latest technologies, products and solutions to police services, government departments and security agencies from the UK and overseas.
