Kelvin Hughes will be showcasing its full range of Situational Awareness, Surveillance and Security radars at EXPONAVAL 2014 which is being held at the Base Aeronaval in Vina Del Mar, Chile from December 2nd to 5th. From the latest SharpEye™ naval and coast guard radar for navigation and surface search to Kelvin Hughes’ Shore Based System (SBS product range) radar for coastal surveillance and VTS applications, through to SharpEye™ SxV lightweight and deployable radar, the Kelvin Hughes team will be on hand to present and discuss the systems advantages, benefits and features.
This will be the first time that the best-in-class SharpEye™ lightweight turning unit for naval applications and also the SharpEye™ SxV security radar for land based and dockside security and surveillance has been exhibited in Latin America.
EXPONAVAL is once again being combined with the maritime and port exhibition TRANS-PORT 2014. Together, they have become established as one of the most important international naval defence and maritime fairs in Latin America, exhibiting some of the very latest naval systems and offering excellent networking opportunities. More than 140 exhibitors and naval delegations from 80 countries are expected to participate this year.
In the words of Adrian Pilbeam, Vice President of Kelvin Hughes LLC:
“When combined, the superior technology of the SharpEye™ technology for both SxV radar and naval radar and our CxEye™ and MantaDigital™ software respectively, offers customers an unrivalled opportunity to deploy a state-of-the-art surveillance and surface search suite with extremely high detection performance, reliably and cost-effectively. We’re very much looking forward to demonstrating the benefits our technology can provide at EXPONAVAL 2014.”
