Coastal Surveillance 2014
- 11 Nov 2014
On 12th and 13th November, Kelvin Hughes will be in Singapore, exhibiting at Coastal Surveillance 2014.
Now in its 11th year, this is the leading maritime security and surveillance forum covering the Asia Pacific region. Last year, over 250 key representatives from more than 110 navies, coast guards, military and maritime security organisations attended the event to discuss solutions to the full spectrum of maritime security threats, including piracy, armed robbery, drug and human smuggling, illegal fishing and marine pollution.
For Kelvin Hughes, this is an ideal platform from which to demonstrate our industry-leading range of Shore Based System radars known as the SBS 700, 800 and 900 series of VTS and Coastal Surveillance radars, developed to meet the needs of port, harbour and river traffic operators as well as government agencies charged with the protection of the coastal and littoral zones. In particular, we will be featuring SharpEye™, the world’s first affordable, high grade, coherent solid state radar sensor which outperforms other sensor technologies, especially in severe weather conditions and high sea states.
