Kelvin Hughes for Qatar's Defence Spending
- 23 Apr 2014
In the closing stages of DIMDEX 2014, the Doha International Maritime Defence Exhibition which was held at the end of March, the Qatari government announced a wide-ranging defence spending programme estimated to be worth a total of some US$ 24billion.
The programme covers missile systems, aircraft, helicopters, tanks and artillery as well as patrol boats and a dive-support vessel and will involve a large number of international companies. Whilst the final contract details have yet to be released, we’re delighted that Kelvin Hughes is one of the suppliers named in the announcement.
