KHSS attended the Antibes Yacht Show for the fourth consecutive year, April 7th to 10th, and combined the activity with visits to clients in Cap D'ail and Monaco, and of course Antibes. The Antibes Show enjoyed excellent weather this year and the changed and improved layout all contributed to a successful outcome. The Yachts on display were bigger than last year, and the stands were contained in a substantially constructed tent, a much safer haven against the potential of similar storms to last year, when we were all putting in reefs.

The Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show (FLIBS) brings together all aspects of the American Marine Industry. For Kelvin Hughes it is the presence of a large number of Super Yachts that provides the opportunity to introduce our service, particularly if they are going to cruise in European Waters.

Kelvin Hughes Super Yacht Services at the Genoa Yacht Show

The Genoa Yacht Show takes place early October and spans 10 hectic days. In past years the show has been mainly for the “Leisure” Yachtsman with a wide variety of Sail and Motor Boats of up to 25 metres on display. However, as with London, in more recent years the larger Yachts have started to appear, and there was an excellent selection of Super Yachts and Super Yacht builders represented, including the superb SY 5A, a 45 metre from Perini Navi pictured below.

Kelvin Hughes at the Monaco Yacht Show 2010

The Monaco Yacht Show is the jewel in the crown of European Super Yacht Shows. Kelvin Hughes has attended the show for the last ten years and is a well established exhibitor, fully utilising the opportunity to approach potential new Yachts and to support existing clients, of which over twenty were on display. The Fleet that we look after continues to grow, increasing by nearly 60 during the last twelve months, and we welcome 9 new clients from The Monaco Show which starts off our business year.
