Tracings Service

Kelvin Hughes was the first to commercialise the production of tracings in early 1971. Since then, Kelvin Hughes tracings have become the benchmark in chart correcting and a brand to be trusted. Demand has steadily grown and today some 7,000 tracing and NTM update packs are distributed weekly across the world.

British Admiralty and US Tracings

Kelvin Hughes’ dedicated tracings team produce chart correction tracings for BA and US Charts. The service was first introduced for BA charts in 1971 and for US charts a few years later in 1980.

Tracings packs cover the world-wide range of BA charts and US charts.

Cost Effective Distribution

World-wide Tracings are distributed world-wide either weekly or at other intervals as customers request. Tracings are delivered directly to the ships or consolidated to offices or ship agents for onward shipment.

e-Distribution Options

NTMS and tracings can also be delivered electronically, through ChartCo, via satellite broadcast, internet or email direct to ships at sea.

Kelvin Hughes processes are accredited to ISO 9001. The tracings team operate under strict quality controls to compile masters and produce tracings packs all of which are printed in the UK.
